Birth stories

Many births go exactly how you hope they will and many births need adjustments to the plan as you go. I support my clients in visualizing their perfect birth and also knowing that they can have an empowered birth regardless of the circumstances. This is one of the joyful jobs of a doula! I help my clients step into their own power and they know I’m there to help them advocate for themselves and feel in control of their situation.

I have always loved birth stories and hearing birthing people talk about their experiences. Your perception of your birth is a beautiful, unique perspective that no one else can share! Here I will share my own birth stories, and any others that are sent me me, with identifying details changed. Please contact me if you’d like yours to be added!

Everyone’s experiences are different—your birth may have looked exactly like one you read about but you felt completely different about yours. Please read taking care of yourself and paying attention to your emotional wellbeing.
